Cooling freshly drawn milk is a fundamental process that preserves milk quality


By it, you can stop the proliferation of milk bacteria and to reduce fat and protein alterations. Freshly drawn milk must be brought to a temperature between 4-6 degrees C, at which it can be stored until collection. The refrigerator should be chosen according to the cost, efficiency and quantity of milk produced.

There are two kind of Cooling tanks "Open Type" and "Closed Type

Open Type” cooling tanks are designed for small scale dairy farms and “Closed Type” are formed for large scale dairy farms. The provided cooling tanks ensure fast cooling and avoid ice formation even with a low amount of milk. They also allow optimal milk storage with minimal energy consumption. These cooling tanks are insulated with high density CFC-free polyurethane foam. 

Ergonomic design

These type of cooling tanks are made of AISI type 304 stainless steel with a perfectly smooth surface which allows easy cleaning and maximum hygiene. They are equipped with a stainless steel millimetric rod and a conversion chart into litres for measuring milk. All the models of this line are compact and can thus can operate in minimal space.

These coolers are equipped with a computerized FIPO 0 milk-controller system to manage all the following functions:

  • Milk temperature control
  • Milk temperature digital indication
  • Programmable agitation
  • Programmed start-up of the cooling system
  • High operational flexibility.

Automatic Cleaning:

 

  • In closed type cooling tanks allow automatic washing Ramset type controlled by FIPO 1 milk-controller with the following characteristics:
  • low water and detergent usage
  • high efficiency washing system by high performance rotary diffusers made by Fic
  • wash water control
  • dosing pumps
  • programming and automatic selection of detergents
